I was absolutely honoured when my teacher/photographer friend Elise asked me to capture her Clare Valley wedding. Elise is such a chilled out person and this shone through more than ever on her wedding day. She was so relaxed, even when things weren't going to schedule she didn't have a care in the world, apart from getting down that aisle to her husband-to-be Simon. Simon was busy mowing the ceremony location that he nearly forgot that he had to get home to get ready for his own wedding! He was busy curating the ceremony location like he does the Blyth oval in football season!
The shady trees of the Clare Showgrounds provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding ceremony lead by the hilarious Fr Matthew Newman of Streaky Bay. At one part of the ceremony, instead of saying Simon and Elise he said Simon and Daryl, to which everyone burst into laughter! Daryl being Simon's middle name.
Elise wore a purple ribbon in memory of her dear friend Simone Montgomerie.
