Last night my husband and I got our glam on and headed to Black Tie Vibes, an event held on Saturday 5th August at the Wudinna Hall. A great chance for the people of Wudinna and surrounds to get dressed up, go out, have some delicious food and enjoy a fantastic night of great entertainment.
It really was foodie heaven, we were greeted with a long antipasto table on arrival. Next was a choice of mains. Provided by Coco-Loco food truck was some of the most delicious S & P local calamari I've ever tasted with home-made tartare, lemon wedge & fried chilli & garlic served with hot crispy chips.
The other option was Marinated chicken breast skewers w sticky sauce topped with toasted sesame served on a bed of stir fry noodles.
The Bay Funktion Food Truck turned out some juicy tender Smokey Pork Belly w crispy chats & slaw OR option 2 from the Bay was Mushroom & smoked cheddar aranchini balls with cauliflower skordila, kalakaua olive/zucchini salad & salsa verde. Sweet tooth fans like myself were treated to a Dessert bar featuring Churros with three sauces and donuts.
Highlights of the night were a big ticket item auction, comedian "The Beautiful Bogan" and band "Kiana" who performed until late into the night. The whole night was a massive success and credit really must go to those who organised the event and put so much effort and time into creating such a stunning evening.
