So much has happened this year and the most important thing is the steps I've take to be more present and spend more time on myself and my own life journey. This has been an amazing time because I stopped saying "what if" and started actually doing the things that I've always wanted to do. One of these self-discovery pathways has lead me to some old film cameras I've had for years! I came across them while searching for something else and decided to see if they worked for one, and what they could produce. I have to say I am really surprised at the results!
The Pentax A3 is an SLR (like DSLR without the digital!) and sports a f1.7 50mm lens. This camera was an absolute dream. Super easy to focus and automatic winding made it really fun to use. I found it so difficult looking for the preview of each shot on the back of the camera which obviously weren't there! Then to wait for the film to be developed was hard and felt like a lifetime before I could see these images. In reality only about a week as I had to post them off to the film lab Atkins Pro for those interested!
Here are all the shots I took with the Pentax... (Olympus Trip photos to come in next post!)
