Shit just got real. Bec turns 40.

So now that I'm 40 I feel like I'm finally an adult (just). I wanted to celebrate with a killer party with all my nearest and dearest. We decked out the local Cricket Shed with sequins and fairy lights, lit some fire drums, put a pig on the spit and rocked out to Daniel Eramiha until the wee hours of the morning. The recovery was slow but I had a super awesome support team which helped (thanks kids for keeping quiet all day!)

I wanted to thank everyone in my speech on the night but was scared I'd forget someone so I am taking this opportunity to say thanks to those special peeps who made my night possible. Aaron, Pud and Kenny, thanks for cooking the pig and making sure I got some mouthwatering crackle! Tamika Oster for doing my hair, legend. Laura Van der Hucht made my face look probably closer to 30 than 40 with her sexy Younique products! Liz and Brett for the Wudinna Bakery bread! Sharlee Stiggants for the ahhhh-mazing cake which tasted the bomb diggity. Daniel Eramiha for letting the locals take over on your mic without a hitch and for coming back and singing your heart out to all our requests. Thanks so much to everyone who brought food, munchies, salads, veggies, punch, and everyone of you amazing souls who put money towards my present, a $1700 travel voucher!!! I am so lucky to have you all in my life, and planning an overseas holidays is now how I'm going to spend my evenings ;) Thanks also to my husband for helping set up, and clean up, along with some magical fairies you know who you are!

I had the most amazing night and felt the unconditional love and warmest friendship from my closest mates and family. Here is a few of my fav photos from the night.

Looks like am epic party Bec. Happy 40th birthday, I will always be thankful u came to my macramé class, as I have followed your goings on ever since. Your work is always beautiful and it has been great to see you develop as a photographer. Can't wait to see what you will be doing in the next 40 years. X
